About Zeroim Remodeling and How Referrals Work

Who we are

Zeroim Remodeling is a referral service. We help homeowners in Shelton and the Shelton area find independent providers for bathroom and kitchen remodeling. We do not do the remodeling. The providers do.

Why this site exists

Remodel quotes are hard to read. One says "allowance." Another says "to be determined." A third costs half as much and covers half the work. Homeowners end up guessing.

So we built this around one habit. Compare, then decide. Get a few estimates. Put them side by side. Read the scope. Pick one, or pick none.

How providers are matched

You tell us about your project. Bathroom or kitchen. A tub-to-shower swap or a full gut. The age of the house. Your rough timing. Then your details go to a provider in our network who works in your area and takes on that kind of job.

You can ask for more than one. That is the point.

Why older homes get extra attention

Old walls, new surprises. Homes with stone or block foundations, damp basements and decades of patch repairs can hide trouble. Think old pipe, outdated wiring, soft subfloors or a past fix that was never finished. Cold winters and freeze-thaw cycles do not help.

Ask every provider how they handle surprises. Ask how changes to the plan get priced.

What we expect from providers

Providers in our network are independent businesses. We ask them to:

• Give a written estimate that lists the scope
• Explain what is and is not included
• Answer questions in plain words
• Follow local licensing and insurance rules
• Accept a homeowner who says "not yet"

We cannot check every detail for you. Ask to see proof of license and insurance yourself. Rules vary by area.

What we do not do

We do not remodel. We do not set prices. We do not pick a provider for you. We do not promise any price, schedule or result from a provider.

This service also has limits. It fits larger projects in site-built homes, such as walk-in showers, tub conversions and full remodels. It is not built for small repairs or mobile homes.

How we are paid

Homeowners are not charged by Zeroim Remodeling to request an estimate. Providers in our network may pay a referral fee when a connection leads to a job. Your price is set between you and the provider you hire. Read the written quote before you sign anything.
